HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN PAKISTAN RAILWAY:

ü lack of human resource management

ü nepotism

ü political involvement

ü political and personal interests are involved in placement and transfer of employees

There are a lot of political interference in Pakistan railways. Pakistan railways administration states that merit and job security assignments are their primary concerns. There is declining trend in the number of employees in Pakistan railways. This contributed greatly to be collapse of the Pakistani railway.

POOR INFRACTURE OF PAKISTAN RAILWAYS:

Poor infrastructure also contributes in the distraction of Pakistan railway.

Most of the Pakistan railway resources includes,

ü  physical infrastructure has been used to their full potential & are no longer productive.

ü  Disrupting the effectiveness of the work

ü  Infrastructure development has been identified as the primary concern

ü  Maintained & repair expenditures are the major contributing factor to overcall operating costs

TICKETLESS TRAVELLING IN PAKISTAN RAILWAYS:

ü  Travelling without a ticket on Pakistan railways also occurs quite frequently.

ü  Due to which creates losses in Pakistan railways.

ü  This unethical activity is most apparent on branch lines. Where it is believed to occurs with the support of railways police & ticket verifiers.

ü  Too increase monetary gains Pakistan’s railways must improve administration to protect these leaks.
