PUBLIC SECTOR

The public sector is a sector of the economy that is affiliated with the government, in which the government provides services, assists the public, provides information and guidance, and s issues, inw education standard, a low HDI, and a low GDP. Poor health indicators, and so on Pakistan is ranked 147th out of 170 countries in the 2019 Human Development Index. Our government partner is having serious problems! And our government is failing to provide even basic necessities to its citizens. According to the Corruption Perception Index 2020, Pakistan ranks 124 out of 179 countries in terms of corruption in the public sector. In public hospitals, there is no accountability, transparency, or efficiency. Doctors do not pay close attention to patients, and people have to endure a lot in public hospitals and stand in long lines to get an appointment in public schools. Teachers are inefficient because they do not attend classes and instead collect a salary. Teachers are under-trained, and public schools lack basic amenities such as clean water and basic infrastructure. The majority of the public sectors are not functioning well; however, some of the public sectors are performing admirably. Nadra has worked extremely hard. The government is also taking good initiatives, such as the Pakistan citizen portal and the EHSAS program, but in order for them to function properly, the government must ensure transparency, accountability, and an efficient public sector, as well as reforms to protect citizens' interests and improve their living standards.

Private-Sector

Pakistan's private sector is referred to as the citizen sector because it is run by private companies and individual for profit rather than the government. Private sectors are more efficient and accountable than the government, and they provide higher-quality services than the government. I'd like to share my personal experience with you all. I've been suffering from really bad cystic acne for a long time, and I've tried everything from home remedies to public sector hospitals to get rid of it. It didn't make any difference; it was more of a waste of time and effort. Then I tried a private hospital for the same problem; when compared to the public hospital, the private hospital was more comfortable, efficient, and cooperative; the treatment was worthwhile. In Pakistan today, the private sector accounts for over 77 percent of the commercial banking sector, 100 percent of the textile industry, and 100 percent of the telecommunication sector. The private sector contributes significantly to the economy by creating jobs through the creation of employment opportunities within private companies, among other things. Contribution to tax revenues and capital flow through the economy are two important outcomes. Provides goods and services to consumers as well as commercial customers it attracts investors from both within the country and outside the country. According to official map studies, the private sector accounts for more than 70% of all health consultations in the United States. Shukat khanam in the 2017-18 academic year, Khanum Hospital is offering cancer patients free treatment. 72 percent of patients received completely free treatment, and when it comes to private schools, they are delivering high-quality education and employing the most qualified educators. The majority of Pakistan's top educational institutions are private, such as LUMS, BEACON house school, and AGHA Khan Unit, as opposed to public institutions. :

 Public-Private Partnership

It necessitates a team effort. In-between the public and private sectors; It is in everyone's best interest to collaborate with government agencies and private businesses. Private-sector technology and innovation, for example, can help public-sector services improve operational efficiency. On the public sector side, the incentive for private sector project completion within awiwithint budget is provided by the government the country's ability to attract infrastructure investment and boost the relevant construction, equipment, support, and other industries will improve as a result of growing its economy. With the support of Pakistan's government, public-private partnerships are becoming increasingly commonplace. Additionally, a Public-Private Partnership Cell has been established by the Punjabi government. The Flyover over Railway Crossing road Lahore, Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop (SL-I & SL-II) have been completed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPPP). If the government works with Pakistan's strong private sector, the country can emerge from its current crisis and move forward with its military campaign.

Public-private partnerships are typically found in transport infrastructures such as highways, airports, railroads, bridges, and tunnels. Examples of municipal and environmental infrastructure include water and wastewater facilities.
