Pakistan is a developing country with poverty rate of 39.2
percent according to news international. Poor people can’t afford private
goods, only government sector can facilitate these peoples. Private
Organizations works for profit making so private goods and services are more expensive
than public good and services.
Public sector have more job security than private sector
because of proper mechanism for recruitment, selection and retirement. Public
sectors also provide all facilities to their employees like accommodation,
health, education and pension after retirement.

NADRA:
The National Database
& Registration Authority is public institution that regulates government
databases and statistically manages the sensitive registration database of all
the national citizens of Pakistan. NADRA becomes the most efficient institution
in the time of Covid-19.
Pakistan Railway:
Pakistan Railways is the national, state-owned railway
company of Pakistan. Founded in 1861 and headquartered in Lahore, it owns 7,791
kilometers of track across Pakistan. Pakistan Railway institution works very
efficiently from last couple of years.
Pakistan Post:
Pakistan Post is a state enterprise which functions as
Pakistan's primary and largest postal operator. 49,502 employees through a
vehicle fleet of 5,000 operate traditional to the door service from more than
13,419 post offices across the country, servicing over 50 million people.

post is committed to make secure and timely delivery of mail, money and
material at the doorsteps of the customers at affordable cost
Prime Minister's Performance Delivery Unit:
Prime Minister's Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU) established
in 2013 has been reorganized with a new vision to promote citizen-centric and
participatory governance. PMDU is pioneering a nation-wide complaints and
grievance redressal mechanism with special emphasis on facilitation of overseas
Pakistanis, women, special persons and foreigners. The primary objective of the
unit is to provide citizens' an opportunity to seamlessly communicate with all
government entities and have their issues resolved with priority, in accordance
with the vision of the Government. The Unit will enable the establishment of a
culture of quantified performance management and make the various government
entities accountable for their mandated roles and responsibilities. Besides,
the Unit will put forward recommendations for amendment and simplification of
cumbersome official procedures as evidenced from the database for the purpose
of assuring public facilitation.
Pakistan Citizen Portal:
Pakistan Citizen Portal is a government owned mobile
application and is been used as a tool to promote citizen centric participatory
governance. It provide a nationwide window to connect people with government
organizations at all level for raising their issues with authorities,
complaints redressal and suggestions. On government’s side, it help to promote
the culture of quantified performance management and make the various government
entities accountable for their mandated roles and responsibilities.
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS):
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences is a research oriented
health sciences institute located in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is one of the region
leading tertiary level hospitals which includes 22 medical and surgical
specialist centers. PIMS is working efficiently as a public health sector.
Rawalpindi Medical University:
Rawalpindi Medical University is a public university located
in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. It is affiliated with three public sector
teaching hospitals for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education &
training. Private sector medical studies are very expensive in Pakistan whereas
Rawalpindi medical university provide quality education to deserving students
with reasonable fee.
Health Card (Qaumi Sehat Card):
Qaumi Sehat Card (National Health Card) is a Micro-health
Insurance initiative currently available for citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
Punjab, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, and Tharparkar
(Sindh) under the Sehat Sahulat Program (Healthcare Convenience Program) by the
Government of Pakistan. Under the program, millions of people belonging to
low-income families are getting swift and free inpatient healthcare services
without any financial obligations. Holding a Sehat Card allows you to receive
health services in many Public and Private Hospitals across the designated
regions. You can access those facilities and get treatment and care in case of
accident and medical emergency, and for diseases like diabetes, kidney
diseases, Hepatitis B and C, and all types of cancers. Furthermore, Sehat Card
holders can also receive free COVID-19 treatment.
National Bank of Pakistan:
National Bank of Pakistan is a Pakistani government-owned
multinational commercial bank which is a subsidiary of State Bank of Pakistan.
It is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan. As of September 2020, it has 1,511
branches across Pakistan with assets of approximately USD 20.2 billion.
Pakistan International Airline:
Pakistan International Airlines abbreviated PIA, is an
international airline that serves as the national flag carrier of Pakistan
under the administrative control of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan
for Aviation. Its central hub is Karachi's Jinnah International Airport, while
Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, and Islamabad International
Airport serve as secondary hubs. PIA is Pakistan's largest airline and operates
a fleet of 29 aircraft. The airline operates nearly 100 flights daily,
servicing 18 domestic destinations and 25 international destinations across
Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
